Gene Metheny is a managing principal at Ducker Carlisle. During his career, Gene Metheny has worked with original equipment manufacturers, parts manufacturers, distributors, and servicers on all aspects aftersales from service, sales and marketing, through supply chain. At Ducker Carlisle, Gene is responsible for the strategic solutions portfolio combining strategy with information systems implementations such as parts and service pricing, promotion planning, inventory management, customer/retail inventory management, and dealer-to-dealer ordering.
Prior to joining Ducker Carlisle in 2002, Gene was a senior manager at CGE&Y (formerly Ernst & Young). Here, he led the development of the firm’s automotive aftersales practice, as well as multi-site ERP implementations and post-ERP implementation process and systems improvements. Gene also spent 15 years at General Electric across multiple business units including aircraft engine, aircraft electronics, power generation, lighting, and appliance. Gene holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology and an MBA from Northeastern University in Boston.
