The Volvo Group Dallas Regional Parts Distribution Center is in Northlake, Texas. This is the newest addition to the North American Service Market Logistics (SML) portfolio of distribution centers. The facility, launched in early 2023, fills a need for service to the Southwest United States. Its primary focus is the distribution of aftermarket parts and service items to its facing network of Volvo Truck and Mack Truck dealerships and service centers. Currently the Dallas RDC supports dealers in Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.   

The facility is approximately 180k square feet and staffed by 25 full time employees. This includes managers, operators and support staff. It utilizes dedicated delivery for nearly 95% of all shipments. When launched the facility incorporated numerous best practices from other sites around the world. This collaboration coined a new way of working in North America. The focus surrounded practices to enhance safety through simple engineering, improved ergonomic picking and a inventory storage solution delivering most picking below eight feet from the ground.
