OEMs change terms and conditions to drive certain behaviors. One particularly important area is vehicle off-road (VOR, also known as machine down or truck down) orders. VORs provide the highest level of customer service, but they also come at the highest cost, with the most disruption to both warehousing and transportation processes. In this session, we will cover OEMs who have recently made updates to their T&Cs, with a focus on VOR/machine down types. We’ll discuss cutoff times, order-to-delivery speed, shipment mode, and the surcharges and costs (anonymized) that your dealers pay. Specifically, how those changes influence dealer behavior and whether they are effective. We'll also capture OEMs who are satisfied with their terms and why they feel this way.
