Over the last few years, we’ve put a lot of focus on automated warehouse storage solutions. This session will broaden the discussion, covering all warehouse storage solutions, both automated (Vertical Lift Modules, Automated Storage and Retrieval, Carousels, etc.) and non-automated (very-narrow aisles, mezzanine layouts, creative solutions for bulky/fragile parts). In many cases, the business case for automation is directly compared to either a current, non-automated state or a potential future, nonautomated solution not yet in place in the warehouse. Thus, it’s important to understand OEM efforts on both storage options.
