Volkswagen Group of America opened the Fort Worth PDC in 2001 and relocated to the current location in November of 2021. The PDC services 117 Audi and Volkswagen dealers covering a nine-state area. Additionally, the PDC supports eight other PDC’s for referral shipments, vehicle logistics locations and is the western hub for our interline network. 

The facility is 370,000 sq. ft. with a 40’ clear storage height and has 21 outbound doors and 13 inbound doors. The PDC stocks an average of 51,000 unique part numbers with average monthly line volumes of 25,900 inbound and 159,900 outbound. Normal operating hours are 9:00 am – to 9:00 pm with a total workforce of 38 to include 31 hourly associates, two administrative and five management. 

The PDC utilizes two dedicated delivery providers to include Penske Logistics and Lanter Delivery Systems. The PDC also operates under our Dock Process B model to include carrier packing for all DDS shipments.
