In past NAPB sessions, we’ve explored OEM network changes through individual case examples, such as recent warehouse openings, closures, and relocations. This year, we shift from anecdotes to approaches by focusing on the decision-making process behind these moves.

This session walks through how OEMs actually decide when and where to open a new warehouse. We’ll cover the full process - from monitoring network health and identifying capacity or service gaps, to macro-level market screening and micro-level site evaluation. The discussion will highlight common decision points, tradeoffs, and analytical frameworks used across networks today.
