Warehouse productivity is going in the wrong direction - NAPB warehouses are less productive today than they’ve been in the past. This session will focus on in-warehouse processes on both the inbound and outbound sides to get a holistic picture of how OEMs are working to improve efficiency. On the inbound side, we’ll start even before receiving at inbound scheduling (to the extent it enables receiving), going through putaway. On the outbound side, we’ll focus on picking and layout optimization. Additionally, we will cover equipment OEMs have used to drive productivity alongside process changes. For this session, we are focusing on high-productivity warehouses that have made recent improvements to further increase productivity.
